Loving Cousin

Created by Theresa 2 years ago

Dearest Marian,

It is with a heavy heart that I must try to find the words to express how much you meant as a wonderful cousin and friend.  From our earliest years, you were the best playmate and defender anyone could wish for.  Such happy times we had with Bernie playing in the garden or the street (until you wanted to get back to your latest book!).  Our time at Guides and later dancing away at the Ilford Palais together are treasured memories.  A good time was guaranteed if you were with us.

I was in awe of the way you cared for Roy - never losing your wonderful sense of humour and the way you both just "got on with things".   Peter and I always looked forward to catching up over a coffee (or three) at Costa - I sometimes wondered if they were worried that we had moved in.  How that time together flew, always finding something to laugh about and set the world to rights.

Rest in peace and light my wonderful, funny, caring, beautiful girl.
