It was over 45 years ago that we all became close friends with Marian either working with her at May and Baker or through playing in the same Netball Team, together with her Sister Bernie, sadly the netball days are long gone but still have fond memories of Marian as Goal Defence, definitely a credit to the team, rarely a goal got past her!


Since having our families we kept in touch even though we had moved away from each other to Billericay, Collier Row, Upminster and Southminster then Crawley, meeting occasionally at each others houses with 14 kids in tow! Crazy but such fun times and happy memories Marian always being our Matriarch.


When our children grew up we still met up for a girls night out enjoying a leisurely evening meal at our favourite restaurant listening to Marian’s countless stories making us laugh so much, gonna miss that fun loving personality she had.


We will miss you terribly Marian, still cannot believe you have gone and so suddenly too which is so difficult for us to accept. Gone yet not forgotten, rest in peace.
